All the information you need, when you need it. When a call is received the contact record will automatically open in your browser. This record includes a detailed call history listing all calls with that contact along with date, time, and duration of the call.

New contacts are automatically created if not resolved

Never miss a contact! If an inbound call is received and a contact is not resolved, a new contact will be automatically created and call information will be saved.

Using the 3CX Phone App over 4G

You may have noticed the photo of Mark on our Twitter feed last week using the new HTC One M8.

It was the first time he had been able to try the phone is a super fast 4G Mobile area. We ran some trials on were getting up to 38Mbps – which is amazing when you consider some offices still have a traditional broadband speed of around 2Mbps.

With the 3CX Mobile App installed and ready to go we called the office to brag about our ‘Research and Development day’ 😉 at the gadget show. As expected the call quality over 4G was perfect.

As 4G continues to be rolled out (We use EE for out mobiles phones, you can check coverage here) in to more and more areas having your office phone extension with you on your mobile phone is going to be seemless thanks to the speed of 4G and the power of 3CX Phone for iPhone and Android.

New 3CX ideas app – Tell us your Feature requests

The popular 3CX Feature Requests app has moved! Previously this app was hosted on Facebook, but due to popular demand the app is now hosted on our own server. Now anybody can access it using either their Facebook or Twitter login.  Facebook is no longer a requirement. The 3CX Ideas app allows us to respond to and prioritize Product feedback. You can post feature requests and vote for feature requests. The best ideas will rise to the top and be considered for inclusion in 3CX Phone System.

Make sure your idea hasn’t already been submitted – search for it first! Duplicate ideas make it difficult to administer the system.

Do not post feature requests for old versions, only feature requests for current versions will be considered.

3CX Features in the Telegraph Business Club

The Telegraph newspaper has created a video on 3CX showing how businesses improve communications with 3CX Phone System while at the same time cutting down telecommunications costs. Wiltshire College and Drayton Manor share their stories, revealing how 3CX Phone System has exceeded their expectations.

New Version of 3CX CRM Integration Module Available

We’re pleased to announce that a new version of the 3CX CRM Integration Module has been released. This new version adds support for SageAct 2013 and for terminal server environments.

Chip One Cuts its Telephony Costs by 50 Percent with 3CX Phone System

3CX, developer of the award winning Windows VoIP PBX 3CX Phone System, today announced that Chip One Exchange (Chip One), a worldwide exchange company and stocking distributor of electronic components, has installed 3CX Phone System and the 3CX Call Center Module at its offices in Neu-Isenburg, Germany, China, Hong Kong and the USA. In the first quarter of 2013, Chip One will install 3CX Phone System at its offices in India and the Philippines.

Chris WalkerWe are pleased to have taken on a new member of staff in Chris Walker. We convinced Chris to leave his job at Shropshire Council, where he worked for 12 years in transport and education departments.

Chris will be joining working from our Shrewsbury office as a first line support engineer working for Loud Mouth Phones and Start Technology.
